We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Solutions Architect to join a dynamic Core Services Team. In this role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available systems to support internal infrastructure and platform needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, solving complex technical challenges and delivering innovative, efficient solutions. Our client develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets.
Key Requirements:
- Python ecosystem (including libraries and various web frameworks beyond Django)
- Relational and non-relational databases
- Architectural patterns: microservices, monolith, serverless
- Deployment patterns like blue-green
- System design or architectural design experience
- Experience with scalable, distributed, or high-load systems
- Understanding of software design patterns and code structure best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform
- Strong knowledge of container technologies: Docker, Podman, LXC, Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred, GitHub/Git also relevant)
- Experience managing runners and CI/CD triggers
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of scalable "as-a-Service" offerings for internal infrastructure
Collaborate with engineering and implementation teams to ensure smooth service integration and operational handover
Deliver robust, secure, and future-proof solutions across cloud-native, Kubernetes, bare-metal, and hybrid infrastructures
Provide technical leadership and documentation, driving architectural best practices
Champion problem-solving approaches, promoting engineering excellence and code reusability
