Cath Lab Nurse

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Nurse with experience supporting cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures and caring for patients before, during, and after cardiac interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Prepare patients before procedures, including assessment, consent verification, and pre-procedure care.

• Assist cardiologists during coronary angiography, PCI, stent placement, and other cardiac interventions.

• Monitor patients during procedures and identify complications.

• Manage post-procedure recovery and monitor access sites.

• Administer medications and provide emergency care when required.

• Maintain sterile techniques and follow cath lab safety protocols.

• Document patient care accurately.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.

• Valid nursing license.

• Minimum 2–3 years of Cath Lab nursing experience.

• Experience with cardiac catheterization, angiography, PCI, and interventional cardiology procedures.

• Strong knowledge of cardiac medications and emergency response.

• BLS and ACLS certification required.

• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure cardiac environment.
